We travel a lot and we take a lot of pictures with GoPro camera (Hero 4 Black) which doesn’t have display and connecting wifi all the time really drains phone battery. And it reminds me old time cameras when you didn’t know if you really made a good picture before actually developing the film. So its useful to have something you can just put the micro SD in and look at the pictures in your phone or tablet.

Item: we already took it to Japan and it really made a difference as we could connect and review our photos first hand.
Update: we bought it ages ago, now the port for Samsung phones has changed. But it worked really well with Samsung Edge which used old type USB.
